Powerful Weapons Of Gods & Ancient Nuclear Blasts Happened In Mahabharata 12,000 Years Ago

Are the weapons like the Hydrogen bomb and the atomic bombs the invention of the 20th century? Probably no. Such technology may sound relatively new to modern humans, but ancient Hindu literature such as “Mahabharata” and “Ramayana” have evidence of lethal weapons used by gods on Earth tens of thousands of years ago.

As Dr. J. Robert Oppenheimer witnessed the first detonation of a nuclear weapon on July 16, 1945, a piece of Hindu scripture ran through his mind: “Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds”. It is, perhaps, the most well-known line from the Bhagavad-Gita, but also the most misunderstood one.

Furthermore, when a student asked Dr. Oppenheimer if the first nuclear device that went off was the one at Alamogordo during the Manhattan Project, he responded: “Well… yes. In modern times, yes, of course.”

Written in the Ramayana, an ancient Indian epic poem which narrates the struggle of the divine Prince Rama to rescue his wife Sita from the demon king Ravana, we find more interesting details which apparently also describe powerful ancient weapons: “(It was a weapon) so powerful that it could destroy the earth in an instant–
A great soaring sound in smoke and flames– And on it sits death…”

Pashupatastra — Weapon Of Lord Shiva

In ancient Hindu history, the Pashupatastra was the most destructive personal weapon of Shiva, Kali, and Adi Para Shakti discharged by the mind, the eyes, words, or a bow. This mighty weapon could destroy creation and vanquish all beings. In fact, many scholars agree that the Pashupatastra is the most powerful, destructive, and irresistible weapon of all other “Astras” (weapons) mentioned in Hindu scriptures. Mahabharata mentions that Arjuna took Pashupatastra from Lord Shiva, but never used it.

Brahmashirsha Astra — Projectile weapon

The Brahmashirsha Astra was a weapon that was said to be able to destroy the world. These weapons are all supposedly created by Lord Brahma. It was capable of summoning a shower of meteorites upon the enemy. The Mahabharata offers an excellent description of this mighty Astra:

“It blazes up with terrible flames within a huge sphere of fire. Numerous peals of thunder were heard, thousands of meteors fell and all living creatures became terrified with great dread. The entire sky seemed to be filled with noise and assumed a terrible aspect with flames of fire. The whole earth with her mountains and waters and trees trembled.”

Doesn’t that description sound like something that a modern-day nuclear weapon would do?
Furthermore, it is said that once the weapon is used, the area it was used upon will become destroyed, and nothing new could grow upon that land, not even a blade of grass for at least 12 years. It will not rain for 12 years in that area, and everything including metal and earth becomes poisoned.

Bramhastra is considered to be one of the most powerful supernatural weapons to have ever existed. Descriptions of this weapon suggest that this mighty weapon never missed its mark, and had to be used with a very specific intent against an army, as its target would be completely destroyed.

Another divine weapon that may supersede the modern ballistic missiles is Indraastra. It transforms into many missiles capable of destroying an entire army. The Indraastra was the weapon of Indra, a Vedic deity in Hinduism. This weapon was invoked a number of times in the Mahabharata war.

Powerful weapons of Lord Vishnu

Then we have extremely powerful weapons by Lord Vishnu (Supreme being of all Hindu deities): Sudarshana Chakra & Narayanastra.

The Sudarshan Chakra is described as a powerful, spinning disk-like weapon. It has 108 serrated blades and has the ability to travel several million yojanas (1 Yojana = 8 km) in a blink of an eye. It is said that this weapon never missed its target.

The Narayanastra was another weapon used by Lord Vishnu in his other avatar. This weapon is described as firing a powerful tirade of millions of deadly missiles simultaneously. According to the Mahabharata, only Lord Krishna, Drona, and Aswathama possessed the Narayanastra. One of the most interesting details about this weapon is that it could only be used once in a war. If anyone tried using it two times, then it would destroy the user’s own army.

In a 2017 scientific study, Professor Jason Wright suggested that our planet and other celestial bodies in our solar system may have been inhabited in the distant past by Ancient Aliens. Professor Wright is an assistant professor of astrophysics and astronomy at the Pennsylvania State University.

He claimed that “technological” alien civilizations may have once lived on one of the planets in our solar system, and eventually disappeared without a trace. In his study entitled “Prior Indigenous Technological Species,” he suggested that extraterrestrial technosignatures might be extremely old, limiting the places they might still be found to beneath the surfaces of Mars and the Moon, or in the outer Solar System.

Recently launched Gailieo Project by Harvard professor Avi Loeb is aimed to search for such technosignatures to prove the existence of extraterrestrial civilization in our solar system as well as the universe. Unfortunately, due to years of erosion and tectonic movements, finding such relics would be difficult but Mohenjo-Daro is said to have been destroyed after the nuclear blast. If that’s the case, could it be destroyed by these weapons of gods?
